Create Short Video Clips Answering top 10 Questions Ask About Product or Service

Are you directly addressing the questions your potential customers ask daily about your products or services? If not, you're missing a significant opportunity!

YouTube is an excellent platform for businesses to answer common customer questions. Its robust sharing features—including direct links for social media, embed codes for websites and blogs, and messenger links—make it easy for your videos to reach a wider audience. By sharing YouTube video links, you enable consumers in your local market to easily discover your business.

Why Mobile and Local Search Matter

Today, mobile devices are the primary search tool. Google's search algorithms implicitly understand "near me" and "nearby" queries, along with similar phrases like "close by." This is particularly important because Google now prioritizes mobile indexing.

To leverage this, identify the top 10 questions customers ask about your business. Search these questions on your mobile device to see how consumers phrase their inquiries. This research will guide you in creating short, targeted videos that directly address customer needs during their search. Knowing your target market is key to success!

Getting Started with YouTube Short Videos

If you already have a YouTube channel, download the YouTube app and sign in with your account. Use the app to record your question-and-answer videos, fill in the details, and upload them. Once your videos are on your channel, start sharing them with your target audience.

YouTube shorts 15 seconds -3 minutes and will populate as a playlist on your channel.

By proactively providing helpful information, you'll build brand awareness and generate sales leads. Consumers often research businesses thoroughly before making contact, so meeting them with valuable content positions you as a trusted resource.

Potential clients search for information. They want education and personalization. Create the short videos as if you're having a conversation.

Live Video Streaming From Your Mobile Device a Hot Trend

In early 2000 we were streaming live video when streaming was not cool.

High-end processors, cheap storage, larger bandwidth pipes and mobile devices with apps have changed the above to plain fun!

Facebook, YouTube, and Periscope change the way we use video to tell our personal and business stories.

One of our taglines in the old days "on the air anywhere"  and this is so true today.

Periscope is connected to Twitter. Facebook Live is located on your Personal Page, Business Page, and Groups.  YouTube is through the YouTube App.  YouTube app will allow you to record until your channel reaches 10,000 views. Then YouTube will offer live.

These instant moments are captured live and then archived. Great marketing tactic for business.

Live video means the mobile device can capture instant moments and reach the social platform.  Engagement and sharing become part of the content reach.

A business which,  pay attention to what customers look for can meet online with instant moments your business creates.

Build your brand and gain visibility for your business. Do not ignore the possibilities of Live Vid

How to Create A Personalized Video On YouTube

If you have a web cam and YouTube channel?  Here's a suggestion.

Remember the days  we sent thank you cards after the a meeting or sale.  My mail box would have a thank you card from thoughtful folks who understood marketing is everything we do before and after we pick up the check.

When is the last time one was in your mail box?  Here is a great way to personalize a video and thank a client for choosing your service or product.

How about a personalized thank you video sent to your client after the sale.

Must have a YouTube channel for this to work.  If your using a standard web cam consider upgrading. Logitech is a good choice.  Or your mobile device using the YouTube app.

The Process

Create a video Using your web cam right on your YouTube channel.   Once you sign into your channel click upload and record a video on your web cam.  Short Tutorial Video.

Create a thank you video directed to your client.  While the video is in upload make sure you click the video as unlisted.  Unlisted does not show on your channel to public since the video your creating is directed to a single person.

When finished with upload and (channel verified)  as unlisted save and publish. Click on video and then "share" under video. Copy the short URL and send your new client an email and include the link you copied from your YouTube channel into the email.

You will be surprised how many clients respond and it leaves a great first impression.

Personalized videos can make a huge impact on your clients. Consider using for tips for clients or checking in.  Imagination is the key.

I help small business standout using video on the Second Largest Search Engine Google YouTube.

UPDATE:  Use your Mobile device to create short videos. Use the YouTube app connected to your channel.

Embed a YouTube and Hide Related Plays

Important Note

This tool is no longer in play on your YouTube channel.  If you click share then embed this option no longer part of the embed.  Darn shame.  Looking for code options.  Creating a playlist is a good idea.

Of the years the one question which, comes up all the time?  My Video finished playing on my website and then some of my competitor's videos were offered up.

You want your embed videos to stand alone on your website, blogs, and newsletters.  This only works with embed videos.

The screenshot will show where to change the embed code.
Locate Video On Your Channel. Under Video click "Share".

Once you click "Share" then click "Embed".

Once you click on "Embed" this page will show.  Before copying the code click under code on "Show More".

After you click on "Show More".  The page below will open. Take ck mark out of the box.  The arrow on screenshot points to box.  Then copy Embed code.

This will keep any related videos for showing when you Embed.
Hope this helps.  The most asked question about YouTube I receive every day.

Video Marketing and Management of Social Sites

For a local business sharing Video content to  local followers on your social sites is a giant step in the right direction.  A structured approach is needed along with  following the YouTube Creator Playbook for Brands which, is a comprehensive approach and the right approach.

More small business will need guidance in best approaches for using video on social sites. Not saying total take over and management.  The word guidance is a major key.

Are your videos directed at your target market?
Do they have calls to action.? Visit website or Call
Does your business have a intro video on website?
Do videos address your top 5 questions asked by customers?
Does your business have a thank you video or follow up video?
Does your business share videos for activity and brand on social sites?
Does your business understand best places to share video based on target market?
Does your business have a blog to embed videos?
Does your business realize the power of mobile views?

A small business will benefit greatly mixing video with your normal posting on social sites.  One tactic will not cover all the marketing needs.  Marketing is everything you do before and after receiving your check.

Working with a local firm we posted videos to YouTube. We created a very concise social footprint.  We Started  Ad Words campaign.  Blog and show clients examples how they service clients.    Post a special once a week on a certain day.  Formed a group for followers  post and ask for feed back. They started a Twitter account to post third party articles to support model. They direct folks to website with posting on social sites.

Sales have gone up around 10-15% in last three Months and continuing to grow.  Video was a very important start to the structured process.  Video production continues and is directed at products they service and questions compiled for clients.

Video Marketing Checklist For Small Business

Remember those famous words spoken from Apollo 13. "Houston we have a Problem" .  The rest of the flight was about strategy to make it home.  Focused decisions and each one critical for survival.

Each step your business makes for marketing video is determined by  your "target market".  I speak from tons of time helping clients establish marketing goals using video.

We all know that Social Networks are here to stay.  We know they help provide avenues to push instant information to potential clients and build our brand.

Once you determine the all important  "Target Market" then the process for developing what works marketing your video's will keep the  "hey we have a problem" message on the shelve.

 1. Learn "How" folks search for your business, product etc...  Start typing in searches and see what appears and watch videos of other related business. Some of these searches could make excellent titles for your video's

2. Build a YouTube Channel.  The ability to share and embed is important.

3. Edit videos for a  professional look.  YouTube Cards ( links), end of video annotations,  custom thumbnails and audio library.

4. Embed video on your website.  Example:  Develop video's centered on top 5 questions your clients or potential customers ask. Embed on proper page.  Set a goal to develop 2 video's a month keep content coming.  Activity and Engagement.

5.  Make your point.. Don't be that car "rambler"..

6. Understand your social networks and understand one video for one may not work as well on another one.

7. Ask your social network friends for help. Would you please share my video's I am going out of business.
Kidding!  I started video marketing and would you mind sharing this with some friends which,  need my service/product.

8. Most of all make your videos personal and tell brief stories.  Example:  I was doing video for a business that organizes family photo's.  She was showing off a  very cool box  for organizing photo's.  This meant a lot to me when I was rounding up "my family" photo's ( personal).

9.   Learn the 4 basics ( narrowed down).  Video Capture, Converting, Basic Editing and  Tagging for search.

10.  Have fun.. Your producing Content.

7 Dumb Moves Small Business Do With Video Online Using YouTube

Why these Dumb Moves Will Not Help Your Business Video Online Using YouTube.

  1. You have a YouTube channel  and never share your videos to your social networks.    Never learned  the tools on "your" YouTube channel.  Learn the basic Share (Social Networks), Email, Playlist and Embed.
  2. You leave the file extension on your YouTube Video Title.  Make sure the  title is properly worded for search.  Recently noticed company name on title.  People look for products, services and lots of "How To"  Take time and search what people search for related to your service or product.  Built your title for search.  Take off that file extension!
  3. When you embed the video using the code on YouTube make sure you scroll down once you click embed and take the "Check Mark" out of the box "play related video".  Do you want your  competitors videos playing on your website right after yours?  Hopefully they will send you a thank you card.
  4. Make sure and  add a Logo to Front and End of Video and add your URL website on Video. Having this on your video looks better and keeping your website as a subtitle might mean a visit to your website and remember indexing will find the subtitle.
  5. The Description Box where you enter what the video is about.  The very first item?  Your website.  You are required to enter http://www.yourcompany.com.  Imagine your customers having the ability to click through to your website. The last video I watched simply said "Cool Video" which means wasted space.  Write what the video is about.  Tell me your service areas.. Contact phone number. Give me reasons to call you, email or visit your website.
  6. Tags and keywords need be simple and do the point.  Type in Google search and see how folks are searching for your product or service.  See what folks type related to your business. Use a Keyword  Tools service and do your research.
  7. Create your profile on your YouTube channel.  YouTube makes changes all the time to help support your efforts.  Add website link and social network links.  Go back to video editor and improve titles and click advanced settings and locate your video.  Customize your background, , learn how to create playlist for part 1, part 2 etc..  Add some annotations to your video.
These are some very simple ways to improve your YouTube videos.  Other items can be tweaked. Make sure your asking folks to subscribe.  We hear about viral Video all the time.  Focus on learning  "how to brand" your business in your Local Market.   Watch your competitor's videos learn and see what they do.  Look at each video as a "mini website" .  Spend 1 hour per day sharing and asking folks to help share your business using "Inbound Marketing".  Activity rules.. keep adding video.  I have a local Home Inspector with 83 videos we are editing 50 more for his channel.
